What people are saying about Find In Page

Many thanks to all users and reviewers who have provided kind words of encouragement and praise over the past couple of months. Here is what some of them have said about Find In Page:
"...it's arguably going to be one of the most useful applications you've ever installed on your iPhone" - ReadWriteWeb
"...it will be real help to those who rely on Safari's search facility on their Mac" - iCreate
"...feels like a seamless addition to Safari browsing" - Just Another iPhone Blog
"...once you’ve had a go at it, you’ll never want to go back" - Softpedia
Here are a couple more reviews on Cult of Mac and Mobile Orchard, and the original press release that announced Find In Page to the world.

  1. Just downloaded F-I-P Lite and I have realised what the iPhone has been missing.

Once I have tried it for a couple of days I shall upgrade - I like the "next" feature.

    Well done!

  3. Needs to be updated for the iPad! Tools are cut off on bottom of screen.

  4. The iPad compatibility free update is coming! I will be submitting it to Apple tomorrow, but then there is the approval time... Hang in there please... it will be about a week or two before it is available. Thanks for your patience.

  5. Just purchased this for my iPad. I was running a similar free bookmarklet on my iPhone before, but decided the next/prev buttons make this version worth the $1. Was initially disappointed that it crops the buttons and is pixelated on the iPad (since the app store mentions iPad compatibility), but it still works and I'm pleased that you're going to fix it for free. Thanks!

  6. I agree! Please make this work with the iPad! So the controls won't be cut off at the bottom of the page

  9. Why are the buttons so big in landscape mode? That is irritating.

Also you can't type your search term in landscape mode.

It would be nicer if the prompt was in an absolute positioned floating div with an input, so you could type in the search from landscape too.

  10. This is a nice app. Suggestion: could you program the app so the second and third word search done on a page each uses unique colors to distinguish highlights from the earlier searches? Thanks.
